and it's clear that the (Middle-)Eastern Alliance (currently led by China, Russia and Iran) is responsible for these renewed arms races, at least from my perspective.
what do you all think about this topic?

You have to look at things from China's point of view.

A) It's always ramping up threats to those it doesn't like in it's own region. It's been doing this for a long time. It's

B) Xi has been modernizing the army for a decade now. He's getting rid of useless conscripts and reducing the size of the armed forces and making it more professional.

What can the US do about? It can't fight China. The Powell Doctrine says you don't fight China, you might do a cold war on them, proxy fights (the Ukraine, Guyana, Israel etc etc) but you do not go for a confrontation you CANNOT win.

This article is by the right to get people worked up about a threat that doesn't really exist to the US. China cannot beat the US and needs its money, especially right now with its economy not doing so well.

It's scaremongering, with a lot of truths that have remained truths for a long time. It's like reporting that there's weather outside... beware, the weather might (or might not) fall on your head today. Then again, it fell on your head last month. And last year.

The world’s largest army 10 times bigger than Britain’s armed with lasers and nukes

The number of soldiers on active service in the UK is dwarfed by China, which also has a bigger army than India, the US, North Korea and Russia.

China is learning from the US, which is bad, bad news for anyone who isn't pro-China and can't defend itself.

The number of troops doesn't matter. Especially if they're all kids who don't even know how to use their gun.

China's military history is ultra smart .
They only ever fight as a last resort .
They simply weaponise intellectual property and advance territorially via economic and financial means .

They know that winding up Neocom US is child's play so they use uncertainty as a means to outwit silly people .
And it works, with China now using BRICS to self advance and raise a middle finger at Washington which is fast running out of friends .

that's about to change in 2025, when hopefully Trump is back at the helm.

China's Navy is bursting at the seams as it leaves being a coastal defense to a world naval power. The problem they have is that they are near hemmed in from the United States, Japan, South Korea and off and on the Philippines. This includes Taiwan. And getting Taiwan has many benefits for them. It gives them a much wider range for their ships to sail out of the area. Their next aircraft carrier will soon deploy, and it looks like one of our modern ones. That will be conventional, and all others of the same class will be nuclear.

I prefer The Trump to any other present alternative

But by then he will have no Dollar to support him and the US will be no force of any real consequence compared to BRICS .
Far more likely that by then there will be Martial Law in whatever remains of the US after a ghastly internal war .
China and Russia will be uniterested in US overtures unless it has anything of substance to offer .
At this point I cannot even imagine what that could be .Apart from tears and regrets .

you're thinking too apocalyptically.

Plating the Nationalism Card is how you keep the masses in line no matter which side of the faux tension you are on. In the case of China, a sluggish economy combined with a billion people wanting to become middle class, it is practically a necessity to remain in power.
