The video points out that we can lower the cost of raw materials in several ways including energy production

And mining

But even if America matches china in the cost of raw materials there is still the issue of labor costs

China pays much less for workers than America pays

The chinese standard of living is lower than ours

Some misguided people here will say that American workers should make less

And/or that we need cheap migrant labor from the 3rd World

But I reject that idea

We need tariffs that close the unfair advantage that china enjoys

Cart before the horse.

Before you can fix prices and salaries, you have to get the currency in check.
You have balanced budgets. You have to control your government's taste.
The value of the dollar has not declined 98% since 1913 because of American workers.
It has declined because of the American government and the Fed.

SO what you are admitting is that we can't really compete.

The thing is, China is not the place to go for cheap goods anymore. Most of that is shifting to places like Vietnam and India.

The Chinese are transitioning to more complex finished goods, and they invested in the infrastructure and education to do it, while we were cutting those things to give tax breaks to billionaires.

The difference in costs between china and America can be overcome everywhere except for labor costs

And we can fix that gap with tariffis

Well, no, we can't.

The problem there is that if I have a choice between a $200 US part and a $100 Chinese Part with $100 in tariffs, I'm probably not going to change from the Chinese part because there are a whole lot of problems with changing components. You hae quality assurance, customer acceptance, etc.

Of course, the easiest solution. Let the Chinese sell to a wholesaler in Mexico and then buy it from the Mexican wholesaler.

Not only can we compete, we will crush them.

Yes, but we won't fix that gap with tariffs. Trump already blinked.

What will and IS happening is a race toward global homeostasis.

That is why they are filling the West up with third-world shitskins.

It's a multipronged, extended attack, but it will eventually result in a reset.

Diversity, not because it's our strength, but because it's the corporation's.

All a great big old plan.

You probably would choose china over America

But I choose not to depend on our #1 enemy to do our manufacturing for us

Naw, I would choose the thing that causes me the least grief.

Now, previous job, my job was to do resourcing of components. Some was moving to mfg. in Taiwan, Korea, and Vietnam. (All of whom were getting their raw material from China). Some of it was placing parts back into the company's internal plant here in the US.

The biggest obstacle I faced on these projects was getting the customer to sign off on it, even if we were saving them money. They wanted samples, they wanted to do test runs, and overall, getting them to accept the change was like pulling their teeth. And we are talking about major companies like Case New Holland and John Deere.

Trump cant reverse 40 years of stupid trade policy overnight

But he can begin the process and point us in the right direction

For instance china controls the supply of rare earths

And trump was forced to blink

But instead of him just slouching into business as usual the way swamp rats in washington dc have done for decades Trump is working on creating our own rare earth supply

That takes time, but thank God we are now moving in the right direction

Aka you would choose the easy way out

More for you today, but less for future generations of Americans

Why am I not surprised?

Ultimately joeb is one of the stupidest ones. Those who choose servitude and poverty because work is hard.

Okay, tough guy, if you say so.

By this time next year, we'll be in a recession thanks to Trump's tariffs.

We put your welfare fraud boys to work at $10/hr to escape prison. Force your Silicon Valley homeO dirt bag CEO build here vs. VietNam or China with live on-site facilities.

You rotten hypocrites kill countries with your ignorance 🐂 🐂 🐂

Trump isn't TRYING.
What legislation has Congress passed?
What massive reindustrialization or even green shoots of it?
What attempts at tariffs are still in effect?
What has he accomplished?
He sure has accomplished an astonishing amount for Israel in his first year.
He has secured the border, e.g. followed the Constitution...bravo.
This is simply a repeat of his first term, where really nothing was done except WORSE.
How many conflicts are we involved in now?
How many countries have we attacked?

This guy is a fkn blowhard, Zionist shill.
