The debt balloon during Trump's and Biden's terms due to the Covid shutdown. However, Trump didn't want the economy shut down, Biden did. That's why the stimulus was needed. In hindsight it is acknowledged that Trump was right. Now he's left to clean up the Biden/Fauci/Democrat economic mess.

Sadly, you might be right. It might just take a military coup to remove Trump from office. I live about 10 miles from a military base. The people who work for the military do so because they deeply believe in democracy nd the rule of law. If Trump continues refusing to follow the law, the scenario you describe most certainly can and will happen. And the general who does it will be elected as president.
