ding Post #433 Jan 23, 2020 …~… When i say I believe our nation was founded on Judeo Christian values and principles I am not excluding all other values and principles. I am telling you that the overwhelming vast majority of people who lived during colonial times were Christians whose values and principles were informed by their Christian faith.
Their values and principles are too numerous to list but can be simplified as virtue. So I am not excluding any successful behaviors or principles at all. I am telling you that whatever successful behaviors they had were informed by their Christian beliefs.
Whut I say …~… Less than one in five white mostly European persons
who lived during colonial times were Christians who attended church. You say those virtuous settlers to the New World had values and principles that were informed by their Christian faith. You say those who openly professed Jesus Christ to be their personal Lord and Savior had successful values which need be practiced in every generation up to now and into the future to have the best outcome for all God’s human beings,
Why do you think the churched white Christian colonists rejected the “Proclamation Line of 1763” that was put in place by the King of England, their sovereign: in order to preserve the lands for the native human beings and their families who relied on the land, rivers, lakes and forests to sustain lives as part of God‘s creation..
Where was their virtue in pushing human beings westward to satisfy commercial interests?
