Americans, on both sides of the political spectrum, are incensed by the senseless assassination of Charlie Kirk. There needs to be a focus on the needs of Kirk’s wife and children, so sad. There are idiots on both sides of the political spectrum who react, inappropriately, to violence toward politicians of the opposite party. In the past several months, besides the Charlie Kirk assassination, there were two attempted assassinations of Donald Trump, an attempted assassination of two democratic Minnesota legislators, ending in 3 deaths. and an arson fire started in the home of the democratic governor of Pennsylvania as his family slept upstairs.

Too often, one side blames the other side for everything that bad happens. Nobody can have it all the way we want. For success everyone must give a little.

We all need to find a way to lower the temperature. We need to work on finding areas of commonality. There will always be differences. We need to find a way to deal with the differences in a more functional way.

It is up to us, not someone else.

Nothing changes unless and until the ends of the spectrum hold their own, accountable. We're not within a thousand miles of that right now.

No they're not. Dims on this board have been openly cheering that Kirk was murdered. They are thrilled.

Have you read the main shooting thread? I think you have. What about all of your Dim friends cheering Kirk's murder. He deserved it, that is what they are saying.

So, are you going to hold your own accountable? Tag me when you do.

We have to find a way to have the majority, not all, find commonality in our politics.
Right now there are too many people who make a living pushing in the opposite direction.

It doesn't appear that they're very concerned with the divisions they increase.

I have not seen any. If they did, it is wrong. And as all know, I am anti-Trump.

Dante, Crepitus, MarcATL Rightwinger, IM2 among many others, expressed how happy they are at Kirk's murder, mocked his murder, or feel he deserved it.

The same happened after Trump was shot. That is the American Left.

If someone even suggests that women can also have a choice of marriage and being a homemaker, the doxxing, destruction and smearing of the person who says it rolls int play.

An assassin opened fire on the Republican Congressional delegation while they were practicing for a charity baseball game, almost killing Rep Scalise.

Trump was almost assassinated twice.

Just last week the Democrat Vice Presidential Candidate GLEEFULLY wished the sitting president dead.

Now Charlie Kirk is dead. Assassinated.

YOU need to ******* reflect on the toxic shit that spews from Democrats.

Cause you are thisclose to reaping that which you have sown.

The needs? I am sorry for their loss, but their needs will probably be seen to out of his $12 million dollar net worth. Some of that came from public speaking fees. For right or wrong, some have found his comments highly polarizing. If a public figure in highly polarizing position, I would urge the high profile speakers to invest in some security for their speaking engagement, and you can bet, others will. We already know the large insurance executives learned, after one of them was gunned down, by some disgruntle asshole, and have significantly beefed up their personal security.

Why in America should anyone be murdered for their political views?

Another scumbag lib blaming the victim. Despicable.

Sure, but we are not talking about the difference in a national speed limit of 55mph or 60mph.

One side has stated that our founding is racist. One side wants to destroy all our history. One side wants no constitution. One side is MARXIST SOCIALISTS

To compromise with people who are wrong results in both people being wrong.

Yes. We need to compromise, okay? You can tax me at 70%, and you can have half the teachers' transexuals. My babies can be taught all about homosexuality and if I die, my orphans can be raised by homosexuals.

Now, what issues are you going to meet me in the middle?

Democrats dont compromise or neet in the middle, never once ever

The should not. But, there are unhinged assholes, in every country, this one included that do attempt, that very thing, and for reasons none of the rest of us would ever approve of. To not know or admit, these assholes exist, is to stick ones head in the sand. Politicians know this and take steps. Insurance executives, unworried in the past, now know this, and take steps. Being high profile, may make you a lot of money, with no other job, but being high profile (unlike the insurance execs endangered by turning people down on claims, based on policy, being part of the job) carries risks. Part of risk management, is the basic realization, you have risk. If the risk is associated with how you make your money, managing that risk is a deductible business expense, and an expense that should be paid. For as we know, no matter how much you would like to keep the profits in the bank, you can't take it with you, should lack of risk management catch up with you, pretending it does not exist.

The solution is simple

Proportional Representation.

Completely changes the dynamics of voting, changes how politicians see politics, changes how voters see voting.

It makes a country better

Not true. The overall consensus of the majority is a woman can have her choice of being a homemaker but she also has the choice of a career. She should not be mandated to only do one.
Your rhetoric makes it worse.

I feel that would be one positive step.
