I hereby concede that he makes some fairly valid suggestions. It is all too true that the USA (via the FDA?) has long tolerated the use and abuse of various chemicals in our foods. Some are needed. Many are not.

I don’t mind the FDA declaring an end to the use of red dye in our foods. But I have my doubts about any proposed rules which might serve to eliminate the use of some preservatives.
