Washington State is named after Slave owner George Washington. Should it be renamed?

For those offended by places and things being named after slave owners, this seems like a no brainer.

Surely this should have been done a while ago. Washington State is as blue as the Dog who gives Clues.
.

I escaped four and a half years ago. I don't care.

Hold a state wide referendum, problem solved.

Anything else I can help you with?

Dont forget lefties, one can just vandalize anything they do not like.

For example, Columbus Statues.

So anything named after George Washington you guys should consider vandalizing.

Nope!
While at it, shall we include the Nation's capital (D.C.) as well ?
After all, it has the name of two vile villains in the delusional minds of woke wankers;
Washington and Columbus.

The Past is past, and there's a limit to practically of revision history white-washing over what was SOP back then.

If the mentally weak want to get their knickers in knots of slave owners, focus on something more current such as the many nations and regions dominated by Islam, a theology that still supports and endorses slavery, and actively has slave owners within it's realms.

BTW, Washington State isn't as blue as you claim. We have six of 39 counties, urban concentrated, which are slight majority 'blue' but still have significant 'red' there. And the other @ 33 counties (rural and ag.) are majority Red.

Once we clear out the voting irregularities and convince the many former conservative voters to vote again, this state could become 'red' again.

Sure. Lefties made it clear it is ok to vandalize shit they do not like.

They do not like slave owners.

If George Washington could see what a shit hole the state, I think he'd INSIST they change the name.

Let's name it after Freddie "Boom Boom" Washington.

Then there is plenty for them to deal with in the Dar-al-Islam.
Significant portion of the populations there would welcome Islam and Sharia reduced to has-been.

Come on out here and I'll show you that physically and geographic anything but a "shit hole". (PM me to arrange)
It is State, some counties, and the larger city/urban areas that have shit hole government and politicians.

Those of us who are sane politically and economically and have sweat equity here are working to fix that.

Past fifty years of this nation shows one might try to run away from Leftwing sabotage but you can't hide. Eventually they find you and start to ruin your refuge. Only solution is to confront them and diminish their power, influence and impact.

If they are looking over a couple centuries back on that issue, then the majority of them likely also have slave owners in their ancestry.
Can't undo the past, nor change it by changing the present.

There are more important, relevant, and realistically effective things to do than tear down and rename.
Lefties need to got off the destroy everything agenda and look more to effective rebuild and build.

Amen brother, preach it loud. I agree with most everything you've said. When you meet people on the street, they are more conservative leaning in attitude, but not sure how that doesn't translate to elections. I was really surprised just how blue our state government has become, even more blue than Cali as far as representation.

But the biggest problems I see are the frustrations of those in Olympia overturn what the voters wanted more than a few times. And we used to be only King county being blue and each election cycle has brought more counties turning blue. Either there are more Democrats in this states population or Republicans aren't voting.

Another thing is that alot of Washingtonians are moving out, because they've given up of ever getting our state back and there are alot more Dems moving in. I myself am at that point. Up until this past year, I had always said Republicans need to stay and fight for what is and always has been ours. One of the most beautiful and diverse states in the nation, with really great and sensible people and what COULD be a great economy if we weren't taxed at every turn
