No, they really didn't put "Asian" in these relocation camps. They put JAPANESE NATIONALS in these camps. Most of them weren't citizens, and it was during a time of war. When the threat of a Japanese invasion of California subsided, they were released.

Hey, this funny thing happened during World War II. Everywhere the Axis invaded, they found people who were HAPPY to collaborate with them. Quisling, Petain, Jose Laurel, etc. In the case of the Philippines, a lot of the people who collaborated with the Japanese had nice political lives after the war was over, getting elected to various offices.
So with that in mind, was it really unreasonable to lock up people who might very well consider Hirohito to be a God?
