He saved Venezuela, he attacked Maduro. When sanctions are lifted Venezuela will prosper. Expat professionals will return and lead an economic recovery. Fair elections will be restored as tyrants will get the message.

Bullshit. He’s after the oil.

It is not America's job to save the entire world, and this is assuming that Venezuela needed US' "help" in the first place. Whatever problems might be plaguing them, let them sort them out themselves. Keep American troops and hence American taxpayer money out of other nations. But of course we know that will never happen. The US military is but the personal army of the globalist elites that truly run the US, who send troops to attack any country on earth who will not let the US rape and pillage and plunder their resources.

Well, Venezuela is inviting private capital (privatization) in to restore the oil industry. This is a great start on the road to economic recovery. Can democracy be far behind?

nope, not really.

The thing is, big oil isn't interested in Venezuela, because despite its huge untapped reserves, the type of oil they have isn't of very good quality and takes more effort to refine.

Why invest in an unstable country to bring up low-quality oil when you can just buy high-quality oil from a stable country?

Just the kind of crude that our coastal refineries like.

Besides being stupid and corrupt, Maduro was kind of a jerk.

Well, not anymore.

Of course, she won't have the job for long if she doesn't turn things around.
She's actually trying, which might put a target on her back from Maduro's remaining loyalists.
