It would help to know what SHE wants to name the baby and what HE named the baby.

If it is just a case of a middle name, it shouldn't have mattered. Nobody really cares about a middle name, as most people never use them, much less admit to having one.

Every single day when I skim the headlines I’m reminded that choosing to reject the opportunities I had to be subjugated to marriage was the wisest thing I’ve ever done.

To me, if the man was wrong, do keep in mind that he was given the ability to do what was done by whoever approached him about the matter and that right there is just it. Why couldn't that person wait until the mother could also have a say? Also, why couldn't she stick to whatever her original agreement with her husband was? She may carry the kids, but she didn't get pregnant with them alone.

P.S. What if the woman had to get someone else to carry the kids because she couldn't do it herself? Would the surrogate lady be allowed to have a say on what the names for the kids would be?
