War returning to Afrin?

The SDF have announced they are preparing an operation to liberate Afrin from Turkish occupation by force. They also said, they are not going to separate from Syria and seek reconciliation with Damascus.
Announcements from Turkey are contradictory. Erdogan announced a big military operation after the elections. But now, news emerged that said Erdogan now accepts Syria´s territorial demands in the north.
