DETROIT (The Borowitz Report)—Calling it “the most disgusting thing Democrats ever came up with,” Donald J. Trump told supporters on Friday that as president he would ban menstruation.

Only because it wasn't challenged. I'm not sure if any of those families even had standing to challenge that provision. They're children might not yet be seeking surgical care and again the Florida medical board still allows surgery to be performed on the genitalia of children without their consent so long as they're intersexed. This isn't about science but the Rights culture war. Like always they have things ass backwards. It should be intersex newborns being protected from the will of their parents and doctors from having their genitals operated on without their consent.
