Jacksonian democracy is the political movement during the Second Party System toward greater democracy for the common man symbolized by American politician Andrew Jackson and his supporters. In contrast to the Jeffersonian era, Jacksonian democracy promoted the strength of the presidency and executive branch at the expense of Congress, while also seeking to broaden the public's participation in government (source of information: Wikipedia).

Consumerism in the modern age is much like a citizenry-interest catalysed socio-political super-structure. Burger King, eBay, and especially Walmart (a convenience chain of grocery and dry goods stores) represent new age social investments in people-centric culture. Besides, how much are the European Union and NATO governance substrates in the chemical reaction involving the trend towards commerce-focused pyramid contracts?

Walmart is the new face of profiteerism-oriented Jacksonian-esque 'dollar democracy,' which has people asking critical questions such as "Did the Taliban attack the World Trade Center on 9/11 to strike at Americans' fears of capital excess?" or "Is Wall Street the new NASA?"

Commerce gauges globalization in these times, and what if we see an anti-globalization (or anti-consumerism) terrorist threat during this Summer Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil? We can find fresh reports of Olympics security press releases on the World Wide Web.

It seems the greater 'invasive' threat to modern civilization function efficiency is the creepy Internet hacker who destabilizes basic electronic communications grids.
