Not a big fan of the show...I saw the 1964 episode "little lost girl". It reminded me of "ghost whisperer". They say there is nothing NEW in heaven and earth, I have to wonder where do Hollywood writers get their material? Wagon train is overall a solid written and acted program.

I liked john Russell in westerns. But when he did the Lawman gig. I've never seen such terrible script writing.

In the 50s and 60s tv shows were written by real writers. Now they are written by non writers sitting at a conference table borrowing from what the saw before.

I watch old 50's show like Naked city, which became the archetype of police dramas like all these police shows from CSI to NYPD Blue to Chicago PD or my favorite...Bluebloods.

I love these old westerns. Big plus for the stations that run oldies is that they don't run these woke ass as hell adds. Big plus in my book.
