Hello, I believe that Vox is an online publication that touches on contemporary political news and what's happening in the country and around the world. Just wondering what the opinion of members here is. I believe that most of their articles are behind a pay-wall, but I did find one that's available for all to read: How to help the resistance to ICE in Minnesota — and beyond Please note that I don't necessarily endorse the content of said article, I picked it simply because it was one that I could read without have to pay.

Would someone here kindly take a quick look-through, and tell me what they think of Vox in general? Thanks.

Ok, I looked it over.

Far Leftist propaganda, 100%.

I looked it over too, and did a little research. The Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid the Sanneh Foundation both receive federal funding. Several of the other organizations listed in the article receive funding from the state, and nobody knows who the others are funded by.

I'm sure someone could dig a little deeper and find out how Minnesota is directing federal funding into some of those organizations.

If one of them is doing it, you know they are ALL doing it.

I've got a vintage AC15. And I also have a Pacemaker. A lot of classic records used Vox amplifiers.
Vox the online publication makes peacemakers? Are you sure we are talking about the same thing?

Thanks for the reply but I was more interested in hearing about whether Vox the online magazine is trustworthy.

The state of Minnesota uses federal money to support left wing causes?I thought it was a red state.

Where did you get that idea?

These states with all these problems with psychos and leftard lunatics are BLUE states.

I'll admit. I really dont know too much about your country. I am only aware of the deep ble and deep red states. The rest confuse me. Lol.

I would not trust them to be fair, balanced, and trustworthy.

According to AI:

"Yes, the American news website Vox is generally considered liberal or left-leaning, known for its explanatory journalism and founded by left-wing journalists, operating under the parent company Vox Media. While Vox Media owns various brands, the Vox.com site focuses on news and opinion from a perspective often described as progressive or center-left in the U.S. political spectrum.
Key Characteristics:
  • Founders & Roots:
Established in 2014 by Ezra Klein, Matt Yglesias, and Melissa Bell, who have left-wing affiliations.
    • Content Focus:
Known for breaking down complex topics with an explanatory approach, often from a progressive viewpoint on social and political issues.
    • Parent Company:
Part of Vox Media, a larger digital media company with connections to the Democratic Party.
In summary, when discussing the media outlet, Vox is indeed liberal/left-leaning."

The former Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz is the governor of Minnesota.

Ah, thanks for the analysis.

Now another question if you dont mind: what about Time? I can also find an article if you'd like, so you know what im talking about. Is Time more balanced than Vox?

Time is supposedly a "centrist" publication, but has been leaning left as of late.

Vox is better than dox the slang for somebody trying to hack your identity and use it against you for gain
or retrobution

Way too many progressives with progressive stench for my taste.

No media but Sports (gambling) GP or USMB or CNBC headlines since 04NOV2020.

I wouldn't know. Cant help you. My advice? Turn off all of it. //

Thanks for the vid.

So...is there a more centrist news out there?
Not sure if I'd consider some of those listed as centrist are actually centrist. Newsweek? Really.
