Saw a demonstration of flint-knapping in The Chislehurst Caves some 40 years ago and still marvel at the stuff primitive people could make from it. Also how it's still used to make the sharpest of surgical blades.

I had a spoon once, and the handle was made up of tiny pieces of opals. No idea where it is now, though.
