I wonder how Trump will comprehend this message?
ps He never mentions his 🇷🇺 :gay:gay son living in London. I wonder why....

Looks like Putin has no intention of peace.

Who woulda thunk it?
Of course Putin has intention of peace. Good peace. Lasting peace. And for this kind of peace Ukrainian Nazies should be eliminated, Ukrainian Army dismissed or merged with Russian Army and the part of former Ukraine decided not to join Russian Federation should be at least neutral.

Not happening Zav.
Russia will run out of soldiers before NATO runs out of money.

Money are dust. Real capabilities are important. When Russian expectations of losses will become higher certain limit (not really high) Russia will use nukes. And both dollars and euros will cease their existence.

Would Russians support an internationally run plebiscite/referendum to determine the fate of unoccupied Ukraine, Crimea, and the Donbas?

Crimea and Donbass (as well as Kherson and Zaporozhye) are Russian regions, there is nothing to discuss anymore. Other regions of former Ukraine, after denazification and demilitarization, of course, will be totally free in their choice - to be neutral (and with equal rights for everyone), to be Russian-friendly or to become new regions of the Russian Federation. I believe in free choice.

Putin isn't that stupid.
If he is, he ends up with nothing.

Sounds to me like you are afraid they will vote against being Russian regions. Am I right? There was a recent referendum but it was not widely recognized. Why not have another?

What does 'neutral' mean? Politically, economically, militarily, etc. I think you believe in free choice if you can limit those choices to ones you approve of.

What guarantees are Russia prepared to offer Ukraine to prevent additional invasions and annexations.

He is definitely smarter than you are (at least he is better informed). And no, if he use nukes in the well-calculated and well performed first counter force strike, he'll take at least eastern europe, Alaska and California (as a part of peace treaty).

Putin is getting old. He's not as senile as Biden was, but age catches up with all of us.

I'm sure he regrets invading Ukraine. But he can't admit it.

Trump will give him a "fig leaf" to celebrate his victory of capturing Donbas. That's the best deal he's going to get.

Otherwise Trump tightens the screws, like he did on Zelensky.

I double-dare Russia to launch a 1st strike. "Better dead than red".

Looks like Pooty Pops is ignoring the Braggart and the foreign Sheeple .

Guess he might fancy a holiday down south in that Nazi nest of Odessa .

Why not?
Nobody is going to stop him and his Freedom Fighters

Its not about Putin or Trump. Both are just little parts in the bigger machines.

No. If he didn't invade, he would be already dead (and, likely, millions of Russians).

Or what?

Otherwise Trump tightens the screws, like he did on Zelensky.
And what exactly he did on Zelenskiy? Rare-earth deal isn't signed, the flow of weapons and information resumed. In fact, Trump did nothing, short of rhetoric.

I double-dare Russia to launch a 1st strike. "Better dead than red".
"Its more safe to launch first, rather than launch second".

Who would have EVER thought that DAY 1 could be so tough.

"I alone can Fix it."

And now the world knows that his word, America's word, means nothing. The most powerful country on the planet will stab you -- anyone -- in the back with exactly zero remorse. America is now predatory.

I'm not aware of a historical analog for this.

America and Philippine separatists? They started the war on their side, fighting together against Spain, then they made deal with Spain and started their own war against their ex-comrades, Philippino separatists. Even if America make a deal with Russia and keep control over a part of Ukraine - they'll be forced to fight against their Banderovci, either.

But right now its more like South Vietnam situation. The USA (as usually) had preferred conventional defeat in a proxy war to a nuclear war with pretty elusive chances of victory (but with guaranteed multi-million human losses among Americans).

Russia under Putin is nothing like Russia under Gorbachov, or Yeltsin. Russia can be peaceful instead of aggressive.
No. If he didn't invade, he would be already dead (and, likely, millions of Russians).
Ukraine did not attack Russia, nor would they. I don't want to call you a liar, so please explain how Ukraine would have killed Putin and millions of Russians without the Russian invasion.
Or we will both see what screws Trump employs. I would enforce a boycott of Russian energy depriving Putin of cash until he makes peace.
And what exactly he did on Zelenskiy? Rare-earth deal isn't signed, the flow of weapons and information resumed. In fact, Trump did nothing, short of rhetoric.
Trump stopped the flow of weapons and intelligence to Zelensky until he agreed to the ceasefire. That was more than just rhetoric.
"Its more safe to launch first, rather than launch second".
It is NEVER safe to launch. You should know that.

Hey, the war continuing is what everyone except maga wanted, so why the whining?

You're getting what you wanted. Putin is not agreeing to a ceasefire. If he holds firm, then that proves you right, ie that Putin was not "interested in peace".

So,... again, why the whining?
