Vladimir Solovyov (putin´s mouthpiece ) responds to Trump's ceasefire proposal

Russia under Putin is nothing like Russia under Gorbachov, or Yeltsin. Russia can be peaceful instead of aggressive.
Russia with Putin is pretty the same Russia that with Gorbachev, Eltsin, Stalin, Nikolay II and other. Circumstances are what is different. Russian behaviour when NATO is behind the Elba and peacefully trade with Russians and when NATO is in Ukraine and kill Russians - yes, it makes the difference.
With Gorbachev and Eltsin Russia played policy of appeasement. In 1999 it became clear that the policy doesn't work (and Putin was elected and Russia started to fight back).
Ukraine did not attack Russia, nor would they.
Of course they did attacked DPR and LPR and the only reason for NATO expansion was (and still is) preparation to attack Russia.

I don't want to call you a liar, so please explain how Ukraine would have killed Putin and millions of Russians without the Russian invasion.
Its quite simple. There were two basic possibilities: 1) Ukrainian militants would start really massive genocide of Russians; 2) NATO forces in Ukraine (especially strategic bombers and IRBMs) would attack Russian nuclear forces.

Or we will both see what screws Trump employs. I would enforce a boycott of Russian energy depriving Putin of cash until he makes peace.
Really? First of all, energy markets are not very flexible. Even small interventions may cause significant differences. Let's play the game. Europe stop to buy Russian oil. Worlds oil prices are scyrocketing. Europe is forces to pay over nose for it, and European industry is collapsing. Russia sell cheap energy to China, and Chinese industry is rasing. The tide raises all boats and Russia got a lot of necessary ordnance, vechicles, military equipment from China.

Trump stopped the flow of weapons and intelligence to Zelensky until he agreed to the ceasefire. That was more than just rhetoric.
And he resumed it in few days. It is empty rhetoric.

It is NEVER safe to launch. You should know that.
Yes, it is gambling anyway, but it might become the lesser evil. Russian roulette - six chambers, one cartrige. Why not, if the alternative is total genocide?

NATO was never in Ukraine and never killed Russians. Putin wasn't elected, he is a dictator.

DPR and LPR were part of Ukraine until Russia invaded in 2014. NATO never attacks, they defend attacks by Russia.

Ukraine would never attack Russia, they gave up their nukes.
NATO doesn't need Ukraine to attack from. There is Turkey, Sweden, Poland, Germany France, and many nuclear attack submarines. Ukraine is no threat to Russia.

Worlds oil prices are skyrocketing. Europe is forces to pay over nose for it, and European industry is collapsing. Russia sell cheap energy to China, and Chinese industry is rising. The tide raises all boats and Russia got a lot of necessary ordnance, vehicles, military equipment from China.
There is a glut of oil, prices are falling. If Trump tells China to stop buying Russian oil or he raises tariffs, they would stop buying Russian oil. Same with India. Trump may have other cards to play as well like selling oil from the SPR. We'll soon see.
And he resumed it in few days. It is empty rhetoric.
He resumed it only after Zelensky agreed to the ceasefire. He may tell Putin NATO will lavish weapons and ammunition on Ukraine if he does not agree to the ceasefire.

Total Genocide only happens if Putin uses nukes.
