I am sorry I destroyed your narrative. I‘ll bet you read that headline and thought “Republicans rule!!” not knowing the death rate was plummeting everywhere, red and blue states. Virginia has a HIGHER DEATH RATE THAN CALIFORNIA and is in the middle of the pack on controlling overdose deaths.

I am constitutionally incapable of giving a shit about people whose demise was caused by their own criminal behavior. Accordingly, I don't give a shit about fentanyl deaths one way or another.

But I do find it entertaining how many public figures and talking heads cannot seem to pronounce "Fentanyl," insisting on pronouncing it "Fentanol."

Kinda like nuke-u-ler rather than nuclear.

Many people get addicted to drugs and alcohol because terrible things happen in their lives ... to them and / or their loved ones.
I believe we should help all such people if we possibly can.
Cutting the fentanyl overdose deaths by half is a wonderful achievement by all the groups mentioned.
Truly wonderful...so many children and other loved ones saved from death, who will be with their families for Christmas.
