Village People may perform Y.M.C.A. at Trump inauguration

Hey Bulldyke, do you think Biden's pick of Rachel Levine was inspired by the Village People's "In The Navy" LMAO, Think before you post, moron.
No idea what inspired the choice of Rachel Levine, but I do know that her choice wasn't hypocritical of Biden because he is generally accepting of gay and trans people. On the other hand, MAGAs are much less accepting of gays and trans people. That's what makes trump's embrace of that song hypocritical.

Because it's not

They were very happy that the gay community accepted the song as a gay anthem even if they now say it wasn't their intent. It is odd that they would say that particular song wasn't intended for gays since every one of their other songs was.

Regardless of the original intent, the song’s lyrics have long struck a chord with the LGBTQ+ community – of course, the video for the track only strengthens that tie.

Can you spell CONTRADICTION. This OP is YOU insinuating some kind of homophobic BS. Trump has never appointed anyone based on identity politics, moron. Biden, OTOH, as my previous post makes crystal clear, uses identity politics as the first and foremost qualifier. Prime examples---Harris, Brown-Jackson, Levine, Brinton, Buttigieg, Jean-Pierre, Ben LaBolt, Shawn Skelly and that is just the garbage that floats on top.
As for your degenerate translation---only you moron deviants see that as according to the song's writer---who is NOT gay, it was never intended to a gay song.
As Victor Willis states in a 2017 interview, “Y.M.C.A. was not written to be a gay song because of the simple fact I’m not gay. I wrote it about hanging out in urban neighborhoods in my youth. ‘You can hang out with all the boys’ was a term about me and my friends playing basketball at the Y.

See #167 for a quote from that interview.

That's a lie. MAGA have ONE requirement, DON'T **** CHILDREN!

Beyond that, have at it.

Who cares what someone else took it as. The guy who wrote the song said it wasn't about homosexuality. It was about the time he spent as a kid at the ymca.

That's key right there. Anyone can take a song to mean something else, and thats on them, doesn't mean that's what the song is about.

The entire country has taken it a gay anthem until just recently when trump started using it and MAGAs desperately try to change it.

Knee jerk libs were freaked out when Rush Limbaugh hired Elton John to perform st his wedding

The trouble with libs is that they dont know how much they dont know about people

I have no idea why trump took it, but, I'm sure he didn't use it for the reason you say he did. Whether or not it's a gay anthem is irrelevant. The song is not about a homosexual hookup like you said it was.

And nobody is trying to change it. The sing isn't about what you say it is, that's my point.

Both the populist left and right in this country need a punch to the nose.

I give zero ***** how you feelz about it. :dunno:

Wait a minute
There are blacks, other minorities and gays in that group
But….but…but…and How….why…how can they perform for Trump???
19 million shrieking at the sky libtards will drown them out for sure
Huh? :dunno:

Do you think trump realizes the song is about a young homosexual hooking up at the YMCA
Or does it occur to you that he knows and has nothing wrong with homosexuality?

You assume too damned much.
