During the night strike on Crimea, Ukrainian intelligence&army destroyed a Bastion‑M launcher of the Moscow Empire carrying two Zircon hypersonic missiles and damaged another launcher in the same column. This was the first recorded destruction of Zircon missiles on the ground and the first confirmed elimination of a Zircon‑capable Bastion‑M system. The operation showed Ukraine’s ability to track and hit mobile high‑value targets deep inside occupied territory, even at night.
The Bastion-M system is supposed to be 'state of the art,' yet HUR drone operators just turned it into scrap metal.
