Something very strange happened to the democrat party in Vermont. The republican primary results indicated that Vermonters narrowly supported Trump at 32 points but Kasich was close at 30. It was a predictable result from a diversified constituency but what the hell happened to democrats? It was Bernie Sanders home turf but Hillary was supposed to do well enough. Democrats overwhelmingly voted for Bernie Sanders about 89 to 13 points. You could assume that the republican primary vote is fluent but why did Hillary do so badly among democrats? The logical conclusion is that democrats just don't like Hillary and with only two choices they would rather vote for an old commie.
