You're confusing the job of the prosecution. The defense isn't there to convince the prosecution their client is not guilty. Their job was to convince the jury, and that's what they did. Bittle's testimony about being unable to leave the bathroom was the cornerstone of their defense. Where they failed was letting the judge decide his fate rather than the jury who appeared more lenient.

They didn't have to convince the jury; their mind was already made up. He never had to go into the bathroom, so that argument is weak. Either way the outcome would have been the same.

There were no other facts that were relevant.

If anything, the Allison case was worse in that it was CLEARLY premeditated (He had boasted for days about putting Ramirez in the Hospital), there was an attempt to flee the jurisdiction, and the attack was far more vicious (Ramirez was stabbed multiple times, as opposed to Metcalf only being stabbed once).

But the white boy can plan it out, try to flee the jurisdiction, and attack more viciously, and STILL get a lighter sentence because - wait for it - WHITE PRIVILEGE

But if you DO kill someone, it's better to be white because the system will treat you a lot more leniently.

Sure you can. It all has to do with the circumstances that's why people get different sentences for killing someone. Despite what you may think, the rulings are not race based, except in the case of supposed hate crimes, of which white people are not the victims.

Except all the circumstances were much worse in Allsion's case.
