This is the way they feel and why they keep wondering how they keep going to prison when a white guy under the same circumstances gets a reduced sentence or goes free. He reminds me of a black woman I worked with. I showed her a picture of my parents, and she remarked “a white couple who never had any problems.” (She was a blactivist.)
