You find a lot of German names on Latinos. Germans have been emigrating to South and Central America for a century and a half at least.

I worked in Brazil for seven years and about half of that time was in the southern state of Santa Caterina. There is a heavy German influence in the Brazilians there and some look straight up white. The women there are probably the most gorgeous in the whole country.

There's also a City in that state called Blumenau that was apparently founded and settled by Germans. If the city's name doesn't give away its heritage you can see it in the architecture in some of the buildings.
