You’re referring to William “Roddy” Bryan. The father and son deserved what they got, which was life without parole. Bryan received 30 with possibility of parole plus a concurrent 35 year for hate crime. It was proven that Roddy did more than take a video, he actively participated in the chase and tried to cut Arbery off. Unfortunately for Roddy the father and son were a bunch of nutcases with guns so it was determined that he participated in the murder. I do think his sentence was a but harsh since it was the McMichael father and son that had the guns and fired the shots. 20 years perhaps?
