Vaccine Sell Job at CVS Today

So I go to pick up my meds at CVS but before I can, a pretty lady (READ: DRUG REP) comes to show me my vaccine record. Yeah, I'm not getting them anymore for both personal and other reasons. Anyway, the lady says "You have these conditions, you should really get the following vaccines". I'm pleasant, but she can clearly see my skepticism. So she says, "By the way, I'm a pharmacist, not a drug rep".

Again, I was pleasant but left thinking, HA! You brought this on yourself, CVS, with your blind adherence to the mess that was the Covid vaccines!

Anyway, I will be calling them to let them know I didn't appreciate that. Anyone else had this happen?

I've been asked if I had the flu/COVID vaccines, but that's all. It's never been pushed when I've said no and I don't care to get it.

The places that I shop that include a pharmacy, almost all have stations (with signage), literature and techs available for conducting the vaccinations. However, so far, they have taken the stance of simply availability, and do not aggressively take a "sales" or "required" approach in conversation (most likely because they prefer your business and not willing to take the chance they may piss you off).

Yes, that's what it was. My problem is that this woman was allowed to print out my vaccine record and a list of all my medications and then tell me based on my age and medications I need XYZ vaccines...without me prompting the conversation, wearing a white coat with no nametag. I was ambushed, in short, and had no idea who she was (my normal pharmacist was quiet and filling scripts). How is this possible?

Relax, it is not a BFD! My doctor goes over my vaccines every visit.

Right, and that's bothersome, but not like a woman in a white coat at the pharmacy printing out your list of medications and your list of vaccines and confronting you (unsolicited) at the counter....with people behind you. That's personal, not just a blanket ad
