Is this America first or America last? I haven't heard a single member of Congress call this out. This seems to stand against everything Trump laid out, so why is he doing it?

Are they going to cost a million bucks apiece for companies that want to hire them? I have heard something about it discussed, if I am not confusing it. It would be devastating to some small companies, and only benefit the government as another new tax.

Yeah, I oppose that. But you know, the left is going to continue to exploit the brown man and the GOP is happy to remain silent about it.

because he knows the farmers need some seasonal workers to get things done....
A farm that`s not far from me hires 16-20 Guatemalans every summer and when the harvest is done and the fields are prepared for winter, they return to Guatemala. The money they earn here is far more than they could earn at home and home is where they`ll return before the snow falls.

This seems exactly what Trump and his supporters advocate. Controlled immigration of vetted willing workers, who are brought here specifically to fill a need that Americans have, not as a charity in which we give as many third worlders who the cartels care to sponsor and immediately put them on welfare.

That's how it worked back in the day and how it's supposed to work. Nothing new here at all.

Most of our apple pickers came from Jamacia. They moved from migrant camp to migrant camp then went home after the season was done. A few stayed behind for winter pruning but even those had to return to Jamacia for X number of days before they could come back.

It was a well-oiled machine and worked fine.....Don't know what happened to mess it up unless it was the congress-critters who lobbied the state department to keep bring in more to take over the poultry and meatpacking industries.

In that regard the GOP was worse than the dems, at least in my district.

Legal guest workers usually cost more because their minimum wage is usually above the actual state minimum wage. I am fine with more legal guest workers, but if ICE continues to run around sweeping up all the brown folks, they still may have trouble getting them. I have seen some farms on our regional ag show saying they have lost legal guest workers that have worked for them every year for sometimes decades because they were too afraid to come into the US now.

That's about right for seasonal workers in the U.S. on farms.
But what was or is the theory and purpose to allow 16 million illegals and 5 million 'Gotaways' into the U.S. by Biden?

This is nothing new, but it sucks, as it will only further depress blue collar wages.
