WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts on Wednesday paused a federal judge's order requiring President Donald Trump's administration to pay foreign aid funds to contractors and grant recipients for past work.

The court issued an interim order placing on hold Washington-based U.S. District Judge Amir Ali's action that had imposed a deadline of 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Another Trump win.....Another fed judge that can't understand Article II.

Trump's plan is working.....Let the dems sue in the lower courts, then when overturned do the needful.

Lawfare no longer works….

If only dems would put as much energy into working with Trump….

You better give them a heads-up then.

What, when the DNC sends you their talking points is it through a no-reply EM?
What are you babbling about.

The mystery to me is that given what an absolute failure Trump's first term was, that anyone would want to do that again.

There's no education from the second kick of a mule.

You must have took a kick to the head. :laughing0301:

No, the country did.

But Covid was totally not Trump's fault, keep telling yourself that. It was an evil Chinese scheme!!!

Most of the COVID response was at the State level.

But keep going with fuh fuh fuh Trump fuh fuh fuh.

Not sure why you think ceding international aid to the Chinese is a good thing, but okay.
Joe pretends not to be happy if china gains an advantage of the US

That was the problem. It never should have been at the state level. We should have had a national response.

Buyer's remorse has already set in, and he hasn't even wrecked the economy yet (don't worry, he will.)

It belongs at the State level, that's the whole point of federalism.
