• There is currently a glut of soymeal in China, thus less demand.
• China has started growing more domestic soy to reduce import demand.
• China has changed their feed composition to include less soy.
• China has lowered their quality standards.
• Meat consumption in China has plummeted since COVID, thus calling into question China's official COVID body count.

Tariffs are a small factor in the soy market compared to all of those other factors.
