I don't care one way or the other, about gay troops, male or female. I had one in the first platoon, I commanded. He was a smart kid. He didn't act gay or talk in uniform, was always where he was supposed to be, when he was supposed to be there, he was really good with an M60 7.62 Machine gun, vehicle mounted or humping it through the woods, was an excellent map reader and probably the best spec 4 in that Scout platoon at calling for fire and adjusting, even though that was handled by my two Section Leaders or myself, but handy skill and a required tasks. My only time to jump his crap, was after hours, I saw him walking across the company area heading to the phones where a pink fuzzy/feathered mumu and pink fuzzy slippers. Other than that, I had no complaint, up until he broke his neck in a jeep accident (that was not his fault) and would never be ambulatory without assistance again, having to leave the service on medical discharge.
The Trans people, should never have been allowed to join, as they represent an ongoing medical need, the military should not have to foot the bill on short term or long term. Heck, Trump got out of serving with his bone spurs condition making him unacceptable for enlistment. Lots of people do not qualify medically to enlist, and the military is against accepting people with known condition requiring ongoing treatment, up to and including surgeries. So, No. Trannies need to seek a career in the free economy, not on Uncle Sam's medical coverage.
