The US government boasted of its capability to learn, when it started its new training program that aims to no longer train whole units but single persons that then increase their comrades fighting capabilities. What the US certainly never learns is that Islamists aren´t moderate and thus it wastes more tax money on another ridiculous attempt to gain control of even a tiny force in Syria that will once again result in the strengthening of Al-Nusra.

Teaching people that don't want to learn. Or they take what you teach them and apply it to fundamentalism. "Hey islamic brothers......look at what the U.S. Military taught me."

The United States has a mission in an area and population that don't care about the "Police (US Forces ) walking the beat."

It is a tough and difficult task of ridding the world of terrorism.

The Middle East is not the previous Sinai Desert where peace lives forever.

Even if we were to succeed in Syria, as soon as we leave, the bad guys will be right back. Starting at the front of this game and working to the back is not working - we need to start at the back and work our way to the front. When will it take Nuclear weapons to prove a point.

Terrorists are winning, in the sense that the more troops we deploy the more happier it is for them. The bad guys spend less in war than we do - and the hell of it is, WE CANNOT trust the Syrians. How do you share operational tactic and plans, along with Intelligence - that may make it back to the terrorists?

The Middle East is a ever loosing game. The US makes progress, then we suffer a hundred setbacks to make the previous progress null and void. We are in the bad guys back yard. Long has it been taught that when you fight on a enemy's ground, you are already at a disadvantage, and the enemy has the upper hand.

Attacking the bad guys head on does no good if we do not eliminate their support and resources. The bad guys need battle field intelligence - money - food - water - shelter and many other resources. In this case, when we cut off the head, it grows back. We need to prevent the head from growing back.

The politicians release media info "Number two of the terror group ISIS was killed." - "Financial head of ISIS was killed." Whoop - dee - doo. Someone will just take their place, and there is a hundred others waiting to succeed the person that gets taken out by a drone missile. Politicians trying to make the voters beleive that they ( politicians ) are doing good.

The Middle East is a cash cow, a sludge fund. It should not be that way.

We need to stop terrorism, the spread of terrorism and fundamentalists from blowing up everything from a car to a spectator filled theater. We can't, their ideology - reasoning, and personal urge for war.......death and bloodshed is too great. When Mohammad Q Terrorist, is fighting because he likes firing an AK-47 and using explosives........ and not fighting because of religious reasons......we have a problem. When Mohammad Q Terrorist is driven personally by the overwhelming desire for dressing in black and killing others on a mass scale - religious reasons are insignificant.

It's close to final battle between ISIS and Rebels after they have won over Assad sure.

Assads Armed Forces have controll over 10 precent of middle of Syria then Kurd in north 20 precent then ISIS and Rebels 35/35 precents territory in Syria war.

Militants seems to know little about the war. He is anti-Assad and such guys like to stress how tiny the territory controlled by the government is. In fact, large parts of Syria are currently not under control of the Syrian government. But it is far more than 10 % and rather a third. More important to know is that at least 80 % of the Syrians are currently located in government controlled areas. Residents, refugees, IDPs.
Example: In 2014, 11 out of 15 million eligible voters voted (with some countries allowing refugees to vote like Lebanon).
