University of South Alabama shuts down DEI office

The thing is if everyone ignored all the coloreds and fags when they ***** and complain eventually they will stop. They thrive on attention, that's what gives them their power.

We don't have to yell at them, call them names, condemn them or anything. If we simply just ignore their complaining and whining and say "were treating you as equals just like we treat our own" they will stop eventually.

They are attention whores, without attention they will be forced to handle their own shit and be responsible for themselves.
I agree. It's just like outrage du jour. A Marxist groups demands someone or a company "apologize." If you just ignore them, they will eventually tire and go away.

No, white men have had AA and DEI since this country was taken. The problem didn't start until other folks were allowed to have participation in the programs.
So, your solution is that even if the non-white has less skills, experience etc, vs a white candidate, the non-white should get the job?

I’m not sure that neighborhoods served by doctors necessarily or exactly correlates to their level of expertise.

No, it correlates to their connection to those communities.

If medical schools only graduate white people, then you aren't going to see a lot of doctors serving people of color.

Again, who determines what qualifies as skills.

I've worked with maybe two people who had gotten their jobs due to AA policies. Both women, one black, one white. The white woman was only promoted because another woman was suing this little shitball company for discrimination. There was a little more office politics going on with the black woman, where they passed over two very qualified contractors to give her the job.

On the other hand, I've worked with a LOT of people who only got their jobs because they were related to a boss, friends with a boss, or sleeping with a boss... and all of those people were white.

And if you give me a choice between an AA hire and an idiot relative, I'll take the AA hire any day of the week, because at least they feel some obligation to put in the effort.

What is your data to back that up?

It's amazing how folks like you never complain when the non qualified white is given the job over the more qualified non white.

I complain about non-qualified people getting the job regardless of their color, race, or gender status. How about this scenario: Under a DEI program, a Black Man has busted his ass for a company for years. He is up for promotion. He feels good about his chances as he has seen other Blacks and minorities get promoted. But, he finds out that he is not getting the job. Instead, it is going to a less experienced trans white binary person with less experience.

As much as you think DEI is an equalizer against whites, it can and will hurt Blacks the same way nepotism does.

is it, though? The problem with GPA and SAT is that they are just another expression of white privilege.

Yeah sure, like the stopwatch in the 100m is just another expression of black privilege.

There's a reason why if you want a character to sound smart, you give him a British Accent, and if you want him to sound dumb, you give him a Southern one.

Or a black one, right? Funny how you think it is perfectly ok to label some large groups of people as dumb (white Southerners), but not others.

Many unqualified white folks have been hired because of the color of their skin.

Prove it.

I would agree that many people in general have been hired because they have connections, but not because they are white. That is nonsense.

Okay, let's look at that.

We have a lot of underserved communities. The DEI doctor might score a little lower, but he'll work in a clinic in the neighborhood.

So, you would you rather have the best doctor who won't work in your community or the second best doctor who will.

The problem is that it isn’t the second best doctor. Again, the gap is large to accommodate the diversity requirements in medical schools. The gaps gets even larger as you go down the list from the highest rated schools to the lowest. The middle-tier schools simply run out of qualified minority candidates. Now, with medicine, they do have to graduate medical school and pass their medical boards, presumably without help, so there is that. I wouldn’t put it past lefties to start demanding different board exams for some students by claiming it is biased. Why not, they do it with the SAT and ACT?

The point is you ***** about the everyday black student who is just trying to get an education, but you don't have a problem with the sports teams being all black because you want to win a championship 🤔

Are you implying that black people could be better athletes than white people, in general? If you are acknowledging differences among the races based on measurable results, does that open to the door for then saying that Asians may be smarter than white people, in general, that whites may be smarter than black people, in general, etc.? Just curious as to how a race can be considered better, in general, in certain areas than another, but then can’t be considered worse, in general, in other areas.

Everyone should be judged individually, not at all based on race.

Nope just cracker states.

Southern states are predominately Republican, however, they also have the largest percentage of black people, by far. They represent the Democrats in those states(huge Democrat voting block) and are also poorer, in general, just like they are in blue states. Again, logic dictates that the more poor people you have in a given state, the harder it is to break even.

Interesting. I have a cousin that goes to UAB. I will ask her what is happening at her school.
