ABC News first reported that Bryan Kohberger has agreed to plead guilty to all four counts of first-degree murder in exchange to remove the death penalty.

Unreported in this whole story is the fact that these college students were all drunk. They had had an all-day party. Alert kids, even asleep would have heard what was going on, and could have been proactive. But these kids were out of it, and weren't sure what they heard. It was known as a "party house" with people coming and going at all hours. Nobody ever talks about changing the drinking culture at universities. College presidents won't tackle it. Plenty of underage drinking going on at this particular house and at nearly all public college campuses.

When my daughter was a freshman, she had two roommates she didn't know. Both were partiers. Both got drunk quite often. One brought her boyfriend to spend nights. This stuff is outrageous for a public university. Nobody was trying to do anything about it.

Alcohol is so pervasive and is so destructive. But for some reason it's promoted. No one in government speaks out against it.

but yes if they were alert likely they might be alive and had the other girl in her room by herself likely with the door locked, she woke up and heard something, saw something and as quite and he did not see her, she is alive.

two girls on the top floor apparently had their doors unlocked along with the guy, the girl got surprised when she got her food and she was defenseless.

For me, the real mystery was the guy, Ethan who was killed. The AI timeline says he was killed last. That doesn’t make sense at all if his girlfriend Xana was killed in a violent struggle In which she screamed and was stabbed 50 times either in or just outside the bedroom she shared with her boyfriend, Ethan. Why didn’t he wake up from the commotion? Was he that drunk? Autopsy said he was killed without a struggle in the bed.

that one is a baffling, if your GF is screaming while getting killed just maybe you wake up? From what I read he was kinda the DD for them, he got them home or least his GF and decided to stay the night so he could not be that drunk?

you might think the killer would slip and kill the only guy there first with a throat slit then go onto the more helpless females, not leave him for last BUT, if he was that drunk why bother killing him at all? he could have slipped out of the house, he went there to kill the girls that probably shunned him at some point, the guy had nothing to do with it at all
