I might have experienced an EF0 tornado a few hours ago. The largest pine tree in My backyard was planted by a fellow called Ira Reynolds. He was America's first Boy Scout, if the rumors are to be believed.

At any rate, I know for a fact that the trees in My backyard have been standing since 1920. By the evidence and a few photos, it can be said that the tree wasn't dead, or even in ill health. However, the blast that occurred here has destroyed trees throughout the entire area. I can't even get out of town; downed trees block every major artery.

I'm grateful that the teenagers living next door were not out playing in their driveway when this occurred.

There were no injuries.

Something of a miracle that the tree fell the way it did.

It hit a smaller tree which deflected it back toward the driveway. Damage to the neighbors house is less than it could have been.

Looks like it damaged their back room, took the cap off the chimney, and took out a corner of the roof in the front but oddly enough, it did not break a single window.

The truck is totaled of course.

I would say tornado. During that last hurricane a tornado hit a
medium/large Live Oak in my front yard.
Snapped it off at the root and planted it upside-down halfway across the same hole.

Yeah. From the looks of the tree where it snapped, the wood is healthy and fine, but it has all the looks of tornado damage.

Some trees a few houses down from Me, they are tall skinny ones, are all pushed over and leaning against each other.

The garden is going to take a week to repair.
