Obama has made some very serious mistakes in the past with his idealistic policy of appeasement towards the Islamists. He thought naively that if you were nice to them they would be nice to you, not realizing that they were immediately going to take advantage of him.

His support of the Arab Spring uprisings meant that now every country who had this so called Spring is under Islamist sway!

Recently he seems to have become a bit more worldly-wise and realistic, has supported the killing of Bin Laden, tough sanctions against Iran and full support for Israel.

Unfortunately, his mistakes are irreversible and on balance he has done immeasurable harm.

You're right, he should have bombed Tahrir Square, shelled Misrata and droned Tunisia.

The Middle East is spiraling out of control Syria, Egypt, Libya, Iran is sending more weapons to Gaza as Obama claims credit for the cease fire, he stopped Israel from what they will haft to do anyway and the P.A. gets a vote from the U.N. because of Obama's weak leadership.
