I think you have a very good point here, if I understand where you are going with this.

There are a number of Western Nations that suspected (for quite some time) fund diversions in this way. As I said in Posting #7 (Abbas in Hospital), it is lucrative. I really don't blame the UK.

I think that the various hostile elements, to include HAMAS and the PLO, has had more than ample time to turn-around their position on violence. And to adopt new strategies to become a useful and productive member of the Regional Middle East community; instead of the poster child for Radicalized Islam.

Having said that, I don't think that the UK and the US and the other major Donor Countries have been all that deaf, dumb and blind. I believe that it has been known all the time, but for diplomatic reasons, no one wanted to bring it forth from the shadows and into the public light.
