A copy of Donald Trump's speech for Thursday night has been leaked to the press. Here are some excerpts:
Our war on terror begins with Al Qaeda ISIS, but it does not end there.
It will not end until every <insert> Muslim</insert> terrorist group of global reach has been found, stopped and defeated.
(pause for applause)
Americans are asking ``Why do they hate us?''
They hate what they see right here in this chamber: a democratically elected government. Their leaders are self-appointed. They hate our freedoms <insert>believe me</insert>: our freedom of religion, our freedom of speech, our freedom to vote and assemble and disagree with each other.
There's not a black America and white America and Latino America and Asian America; there's the United States of America.
Standing on the tiny deck of the Arabella in 1630 off the Massachusetts coast, John Winthrop said, "We will be as a city upon a hill. The eyes of all people are upon us, so that if we deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a byword throughout the world." Well, we have not dealt falsely with our God, even if He is temporarily suspended from the classroom.
