Or more precisely, throws Foxnews and FANS under the bus:

Coburn: Don't believe Fox

Here is a bit of a signal moment in Republican politics: Oklahoma conservative Tom Coburn tells an angry town hall crowd in his home state to step back from the vilification of Democrats they've picked up from Fox News:

“What we have to have is make sure we have a debate in this country so that you can see what’s going on and make a determination yourself,” Coburn added and then again warned the crowd against the myths perpetrated by Fox News.

“So don’t catch yourself being biased by Fox News that somebody is no good. The people in Washington are good. They just don’t know what they don’t know,” Coburn said.

My God. The GOP is finally figuring out that they are going to have to do something substantive (and not resort to petty bullshit) to gain any traction.

They've finally figured out that cow-towing to wing nuttery only serves to hurt them in the end.

If this signals a sea change (which I am skeptical of), then welcome back GOP.

He added and then "warned the crowd against the myths perpetrated by Fox News"? Can you cite the exact quote? Nooo because there isn't one.

You stupid fucks will believe anything.

The people in Washington are good.

You want me to take the word of a Washington insider?

Get real!

They're all corrupt. Every last one of them regardless of party.

The myth...

Coburn also batted down constituents who raised ill-informed concerns about the health care bill. When one woman said she feared being thrown in jail if she didn’t get health insurance, Coburn advised turning off the TV.

“The intention is not to put any one in jail. That makes for good TV news on Fox but that isn’t the intention,” Coburn responded.

yawn.
Colburn can go to hell with the rest of these Government crooks up there now.

So Coburn is now a crook because he tells the truth about Foxnews?

lol

and you are now a cheerleader for a Republican because he puts down a news channel you don't like.

that is

I'm not cheerleading for him. He got put on the spot because his constituent asked him a question based on one more lie about the healthcare bill. Now that the bill is law, and the Republicans failed to kill it, they can't lie about it anymore. The truth is all there for everyone to see.
So whether Coburn consciously did so or not, he stumbled on a clever manuever...

...blame the lies on the media.

I think its fascinating that so many would take Foxnew's side instead of Coburn's, since he is one of conservatism's best friends.

that really is all politics is to you lefties isn't it, sides?
as I've always said, it is PARTY over country with you people.
You will never ever see you all criticize any Democrat, that would be going against, your side.:cuckoo:

You mean like this? Disagreeing with Obama on Afghanistan?

http://www.usmessageboard.com/1983318-post26.html

While we're on the subject, how often do you attack CONSERVATIVES for being partisan?

Lastly, partisan means supporting a certain set of beliefs. It doesn't only mean supporting one party. Educate yourself.

I agree with Tom Coburn that Foxnews spreads lies and misinformation. So, you either

agree with me, or, you think Coburn is full of shit, or, you don't have an opinion.

Which is it?

For the record, anyone who takes their view from any media organization - whatever 'side' - and defends a position based on what the media report is, in fact, a fool.
