A Monmouth University poll conducted in the days leading up to the Iran nuclear agreement announced Tuesday found that a majority of Americans don't believe Iran will abide by the terms of a deal.

Asked how much they trusted Iran to abide by the terms of a potential deal limiting its nuclear program, 55 percent of respondents answered "not at all," while 35 percent said they trusted Iran "a little." Only 5 percent had "a lot" of trust that the country would stick to the terms of an agreement.

THIS ADMINISTRATION is operating on the sophomoric belief that a written agreement - any agreement - is better than having no agreement.

It is exactly the same as with Cuba.

Were the sanctions (the "Embargo") working? If we cannot definitively say that they are "working" (bringing about the changes that we desire), then they should be removed in place of an "agreement" - any agreement.

Mature people recognize that there are situations where an unresolved conflict is best left to "measures" that make sense, even if the situation is not resolved.

Dealing with a lot of Europeans through my employment, they were overjoyed when we elected a "Black" person as president, although none of my acquaintances had any idea what his policies or programs were, once elected. Now they realize what a horrible choice he was, and can't wait until we elect a real president in 2016.

America hasn't lost its credibility, but this Administration lost it long ago.
