U.S. privately asks Ukraine to show it's open to negotiate with Russia

Republicans just don't want to get involved, and I don't blame them. I see both sides of this coin. While I support sending weapons and munitions, I do not support sending money or troops.
Were you aware that at some point along the line, we began FUNDING THEIR PRIVATE PENSIONS?

Here's negotiations for you:

'Putin, get your fargin' troops out of our country. You already annexed part of Ukraine - no more!'

Would US politicians consider allowing an invading military / country keep part of the US?

Then why the hell should we pressure another country to do so?

And if the UN is good with this instead of uniting together to tell Putin to GTFO of Ukraine then to hell with them, too.

1. Ukraine loses without US aid. We need to end the war ASAP to keep Ukraine from becoming a moonscape. The world needs Ukraine's grain.
2. Before the war Russia had the Donbas tregion and Crimea.
3. To save face, offering Putin the Crimea and the Donbas seems like a win-win, plus admit Ukraine into NATO.

You seem to want a pissing contest, and Putin has nukes ready to go. Giving Putin an off-ramp seems the best idea to prevent WW3.
(preventing WW3 because NATO already said if Putin uses nukes, the conventional war is on)

The world / UN failed when they dod not collectively declare they would send UN troops into Ukraine to end Putin's aggression, demonstrating the nations of the world would not tolerate such actions. Had this been done the war would be iver by now, and we wod have spent far less.

Instead, several nations did this half-assed 'war by proxy' that has only prolonged the conflict and sent Putin the message that taking a country in small chunks instead of in one bite is OK.

OK, that's how we got here. That's history.
So how do we end the war?
