U.S. Military to Conduct “Test Launch” of Hypersonic Nuclear Missile Hours After the Polls Close

5 Nov 2024 ~~ By Cullen Linebarger

The United States military will launch a hypersonic nuclear missile tonight.
The Daily Mail reported this afternoon that an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) will take off between 11:01 pm and 5:01 am Pacific Time from California’s Vandenberg Space Force Base.
The outlet reveals that the missile will travel roughly 4,200 miles from the base to Kwajalein Atoll, a small island in the North Pacific. This will take about 22 minutes.
The weapon is quite potent and can reach speeds over 15,000 miles per hour. With such speeds, it can nail any target in the world within 30 minutes.
~Snip~
U.S. officials also claim that the test launch is routine and was supposedly scheduled years in advance. However, some interesting “coincidences” besides Election Day could call this into question.
~Snip~
Another intriguing fact: China and Russia, America’s two most prominent adversaries, sit roughly the same distance from California. The Mail notes Moscow is about 5,900 miles from California, while Beijing is 6,000 miles.

Commentary:
Remember that the Pentagon under Obama completely gave up on the tech saying it was impossible, then trashed our Space Program/
It was only under Trump and after seeing Russian tests in 2018 they realized Russia had never given up on it and was close to perfecting it (something they did considering many of the ones they have used move so fast our tech can't even track them).
When Trump vegins his presidency in January 2025 he needs to clean out the DEI crap at the DOD and every agency including the Pentagon making sure competent people are running things again.
I wouldn't trust any project that has been touched by the idiots in charge the last 4 years.
(the fact NASA can't even retrieve any of our people from the international space station after going on for 4 years about how great DEI is should be all the proof people need)

This is why Trunp is right, you have to protect your geniuses. Musk is in a class of his own and he motivates people to get into engineering and science. If his company had been outsourced to solve this, do you think they would have? Musk certainly would have hired the right minds. Just as Trump perhaps motivates people to get into politics. If you want the best technology and leaders, you need to have them compete in a meritocracy.

The timing seems suspicious. Did Biden's handlers decide to escalate tensions to burden the incoming administration with a foreign policy problem?

You do realize these weapons have been around since 1970. Right?

All ballistic missiles of this type are hypersonic. The target island has been used since the 1950s. This is clickbait hoax written by a hack.

Almost every ballistic missile is "hypersonic". So even trying to point that out when talking about an ICBM is about as interesting as saying that water is wet or Mt. Everest is high.

And there is absolutely nothing special to make this Minuteman III different than any other Minuteman III missile made or tested in the last 54 years.

Hell, I bet most are not even aware that the US was the first nation to actually play with the idea of a hypersonic ALBM. All the way back in 1962 with the GAM-87 Skybolt. Or the AGM-69 SRAM back in 1972. And ultimately dropped them because ultimately the air launched hypersonic missile simply made no sense.

A lot of people are simply agog with buzzwords like "Hypersonic", and attach almost magical powers to them. It is amazing the absolute nonsense that some seem to place upon them, just because of a word they do not even understand.

The missiles I shot from my guided missile cruiser against air targets in the 1980s were hypersonic.

True, as are all surface to air missiles (other than MANPADs).

But I honestly laugh at the "powers" that some seem to give these missiles that completely break the laws of physics. Like that they are more maneuverable than other missiles, or that they are designed to fly low and evade RADAR. And that it is impossible to shoot down because of "hypersonic", because they seem to believe that nothing can be shot down going that fast.

Of course, then you get to the problem that Ukraine has already shot down over two dozen Kinzhal missiles so far this year, all with the PATRIOT system that many still claim that are unable to intercept the Kinzhal. Which is causing many in both Russia and China to rethink their expenditures in designing and making them. Because in the end, they are largely appearing to be a complete flop militarily against sophisticated defensive systems.
