The US military has captured one of Iran's key defense systems, one of their cheap attack drones and has redesigned it, improved it, and enhanced it for multiple applications while keeping the cost low. There stands the possibility of building up to 340,000 of these drones. Drones and missiles represent the lion's share of Iran's offense.
By creating these low cost attack drones, The US can send them up to 1,000 miles away, then they are able to hang over the target if necessary up to six hours before killing it with the power of a Hellfire missile using AI enhanced technology for greater independence over longer ranges dealing with problems and changes while making them harder to jam, block or defeat. They can be fitted for other apps as well. These drones are a one way device.
As the Iranian military is weakened, these will be phased in for the next offensive barrage against Iran both in strategic attacks as well as sending them in en masse to clear the path of hardened and particularly well-guarded targets at a low cost so that more costly missiles and weapons can be brought in.
Our military is expanding its range and durability for protracted and sustained military campaigns by intermixing low cost/high volume weapons with high cost/low volume ones. The Iranian war is about to get interesting.
