Tyre Nichols body cam footage

Compliance holds are not illegal. They are recommended. Police are trained on how to use compliance holds.

It would be nice if people knew what they were talking about before they provide commentarIy.

I don't know about where you are but in California compliance holds are completely illegal for police.

Then once again I ask, what are police to do? They tried mace and that didn't work, taser the same way, they barked orders repeatedly at him and he still didn't comply.

So the only two choices they had was to subdue him any way possible or just let him go. Do we want to live in a society where if criminals fight the cops hard enough, they are set free?

So again, comply or die....those are the only two choices in your view?

I had no sympathy for Floyd. Or that Trayvon punk. But this kid was NOT trying to injure anyone. He was murdered.
Plus it looks like there was no reason to pull him over in the first place. There was an “alleged” reckless driving. Apparently the officers didn’t observe anything illegal.

They likely use compliance holds that are illegal for the police to use.
Compliance holds are not illegal in California. Compliance holds are safe counter joint techniques. They are recommended as the are on the lower end of the force continuum.

What crime did he commit JB Stoner? Oh that's right he is black.
You wont listen but i will try to explain it to you anyway

Whether he was driving a stolen getaway car after robbing a liquor store or completely innocent of any crime he could have survived the stop by simply keeping his mouth shut and doing as he was told

What makes those last two lawful?
The law.

Resisting Arrest
TCA § 39-16-602:

(a) It is an offense for a person to intentionally prevent or obstruct anyone known to the person to be a law enforcement officer, or anyone acting in a law enforcement officer's presence and at the officer's direction, from effecting a stop, frisk, halt, arrest or search of any person, including the defendant, by using force against the law enforcement officer or another.

When can a person be handcuffed...

"For officer safety purposes. The same rationale that allows officers to handcuff occupants of a premises being searched also applies to other situations in which an officer feels he or she may be at risk. As a training bulletin used by the Los Angeles Police Department states, "The handcuffing of an arrestee is not based on rigid criteria. It is determined by the nature of each situation as perceived by the officer." If an officer feels that placing a person in handcuffs is the best way to ensure his or her own safety, then a court would not likely find that the officer had violated the rights of the person being detained."

These are the powers we authorize peace officer with by law.

You are a law abiding civilian, are you not?

If you're going to use bullshit to make your argument you lost the debate already. Police had no intention of killing the guy. His death was the result of the injuries he sustained but in no way was planned or intentional.
I didn’t say it was planned or intentional. You’re just lying again or too stupid to understand. Probably a combination of both.

If someone resists arrest, do you think police should be able to beat that person to death? Simple question.
