Texts From Suspect in Charlie Kirk Shooting Offer Insight Into a Motive

Prosecutors said that the 22 year-old man accused of killing Charlie Kirk had texted his romantic partner: “I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out.”

Doesn't look so leftie to me. Not sure what to make of it. I guess time will tell.

Some people saw Charlie Kirk as hateful and a spreader of hatred, regardless of what his proponents are now claiming. Evidently some people did not see him as a threat because of some supposed "free speech" thingie

The text exchange between Mr. Robinson and his partner was reproduced by prosecutors in the charging document. It showed that Mr. Robinson had texted his partner shortly after the shooting on Wednesday about a note left under his keyboard, which read, “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I’m going to take it.”

The partner reacted with shock, asking him if he was joking. “You weren’t the one who did it right????” the partner wrote. “I am, I’m sorry,” Mr. Robinson responded.

When Mr. Robinson’s partner asked why he had done it, Mr. Robinson wrote: “I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out.” Mr. Robinson then texted about trying to grab his rifle from where he had left it, near the scene.

Mr. Robinson was raised by Republican parents in southwestern Utah, a conservative stronghold, but had never voted in any election, according to Washington County election officials. In the text messages to his partner, Mr. Robinson mentioned that his father “has been pretty die-hard MAGA” since President Trump had been re-elected.

And in related news: Is Trump spreading hate?

Shapiro, Denouncing Political Violence, Warns Trump Is Inflaming Tensions

Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, the target of an arson attack this year, argued that political violence like the killing of Charlie Kirk requires universal condemnation.

Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, a prominent Democrat who was targeted in an arson attack in April, on Tuesday delivered his most extensive remarks to date denouncing political violence in America and warning against “selective condemnation” from leaders including President Trump.

In a speech in Pittsburgh and at a news conference afterward, Mr. Shapiro spoke in personal terms about the far-reaching consequences of political violence, and argued that Mr. Trump’s highly partisan response to the recent assassination of the right-wing activist Charlie Kirk was further inflaming tensions in a deeply divided nation.

“I don’t care if it’s coming from the left or the right: We need to be universal in our condemnation,” Mr. Shapiro said at a news conference after addressing a gathering of the Eradicate Hate Global Summit. “The president has once again failed that leadership test, failed the morality test, and it makes us all less safe.”

Five months ago, an arsonist set the Pennsylvania governor’s mansion ablaze as Mr. Shapiro and his family slept, just hours after the governor hosted a Passover Seder in the state dining room. Since then, there have been several other high-profile instances of political violence, including the assassination of Melissa Hortman, the Democratic Minnesota lawmaker who was gunned down along with her husband in their home, and the shooting last week of Mr. Kirk.

MAGA larvae raised to solve his problems with violence.

The kid was definitely mentally ill. The problem is it was not caught and treated. True the left has been using hate for over fifty years. They have been trying to normalize mental illness for a while. But I do not think the kid was right or left he was just mentally ill.

No go polish the boots of the malignant narcissist and sociopath.

The interesting part of all this to me is that right wingers are using the shooter's opposition to Kirk spreading hate and bigotry as evidence he could not be a right winger.

The stupid shits apparently LOVE telling on themselves.

Right-wingers don't see what Kirk did as 'spreading hate and bigotry,' therefore, there would be nothing for them to hate enough to kill over.

Hahaha.... yeah, I know that's the act they like to put on.

But, for some totally wacky, completely unknown reason, the threats to trans people and black people started pouring in after Charlie's death.

Wherever would Kirk's fanbase possibly get such an idea that those are the people who didn't like him?

They Kirksters are frauds and terrible actors. The hate and bigotry is WHY THEY LIKED HIM.

Guilt by association is stupid no matter who does it. A killer is not a Democrat or a Republican or an independent....he/she is a killer. Someone who has allowed themselves to become mentally deranged....that simple. It doesn't matter what their registration says....

Grow up Junior....

To pretend that it is a right wing phenom only exposes you as an elderly child.

It happens all the time from every direction and I defy anyone to cherry pick numbers favoring any one category.

What's Hilarious is to watch you turn this murder around to blame the victim....as if no one pulled the trigger......amazing really.

That's the real story here... your ass showing to the world as the clown that you are.
