Nobody is questioning the fact that he came from a conservative family, but here's my take on what likely happened.
He fell in love with his friend, and during their time together as his love interest began transitioning, he became tangled in the world of trans and became radicalized due to his codependency of his lover's mental illness.
He then reasoned that the only option to go forward, was to silence the most well-known anti-trans hero on the planet.

Everyone from his own family, to the FBI, to the governor of Utah, to his own writings, have confirmed that the killer is a radical leftist who murdered Charlie Kirk because he disagreed with Charlie's words. That's a fact.

All that's left to do is find out who radicalized him, and go after them. I suspect it goes all the way to the top on the left.
