No - the Trump administration is not "ignoring a judge's order." The higher court judge agreed that he could be held for the present.

A federal judge said there's no reason to keep detaining Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador and later returned to the U.S., while he awaits trial on federal charges.

That's according to a written order from U.S. District Judge Waverly Crenshaw of Tennessee on Wednesday that followed a hearing.

The hearing on Wednesday was meant to set conditions for Abrego Garcia's release, including limitations on his travel. The judge on the case gave the government and Abrego Garcia's lawyers more time to submit statements on his release conditions.

Don't get your hopes up, Senator Van Hollen. Your crush will not be at your golf club sipping margaritas with you again. He will likely be "released" into ICE custody, given his due process in front of an immigration judge and sent quickly back to CECOT, or wherever President Bukele decides he should spend the rest of his short-ass life. Good news is that the human trafficking charges will likely be dropped.

Even if he's released from the custody of the Department of Justice, Abrego Garcia, a native of El Salvador, is likely to be immediately taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE has said he must be deported no matter what happens in his criminal trial.

Sorry, Dems, but your hero was doomed from the start. The DNC is not going to tell any judge to actually release this guy. To much of a risk that he hurts someone else and the Dems be blamed for it.

Waverly Crenshaw, an Øbama appointee.

Why?

Let's say that he's acquitted of all these bullshit charges Trump is drumming up.

What's the logic of deporting him?

He's a resident LEGAL alien married to a US citizen.

He could be sent to a third country. Am I wrong?
Seeing how the SC ruled, it opens doors.
Sure, he could.

But if an immigration judge lifts the restriction on sending him to El Salvador, he could be sent there also.

The logic, Joe, is that people who enter our country illegally should not be rewarded by being allowed to become permanent residents, when so many people are waiting in foreign countries having followed due process by applying for an immigration visa.

The other part of the logic is that we do not need a wife-beater to stay in the United States to set that example for children.

Our immigrants used to be our strength because we allowed immigrants who lifted us up, not who lowered our standards.

Why do you seek to reward a criminal and punish the law-abiding? What happend to respect for the law?

There is also a law that allows an illegal who marries an American citizen to apply for permission to stay, but Senor Abrego Garcia did not bother with that due process either.

Except he didn't enter illegally. He was granted legal status to stay over a decade ago.

Except no proof he's a wife beater, any more than the MAGA Redneck who gets a restraining order during a nasty divorce.

Bullshit. EVERY immigrant group has come here has had some bigoted ********** like you complaining about them.

150 years ago, it was the Irish.
100 years ago, it was the Germans and Italians
50 years ago, it was the Poles.

No one is being punished by allowing Garcia to stay. If you can't make an honest argument, there's not much point talking to you.

I have no respect for stupid laws.

You do realize that process is actually kind of difficult, right? In my own case, I've had to spend $4000.00 and file 200 pages of documentation for my wife to get permanent residency. .

He is NOT a legal resident, he was adjudicated in the country illegally by immigration court and lost his appeal to BIA, and has an order of removal ever since.

Which was stayed by the fact that his life would be in danger if returned to El Salvador.

He is also married to a US Citizen, which entitles him to permanent residency. This is why Trump is so anxious to try to convict him of something, anything.

(The real reason is they don't want him getting interviewed and telling Americans what Trump's gulag in El Salvador is really like.

Uh, guy, your policies aren't that popular... many Americans are horrified by what Trump is doing to Fathers and Husbands and Veterans because he can't find the real criminals.

Um, Chatbot. Trump is not "drumming up charges"

Are you too stupid to understand there is video evidence of him transporting illegals?

Being married to a US citizens doesn’t entitle him to anything…why do you keep lying?

His life is no longer in danger from a rival gang

Um. Chatbot. What "assault on immigrant communities" is taking place?

"Fathers and Husbands and Veterans" oh my. You dwell in some fantasy land adjacent to the yellow brick road.
