The U.S needs to remove each tentacle that China has has an immense degree of influence over. This is a reversal to the strategy China was attempting in using proxies to try and bankrupt the U.S via military support for Ukraine, Israel and others.
It appears that the U.S is countering that by saying "ok, we've addressed Gaza and Israel has taken out the terrorists funded by Iran, we took out the Iran nuke capability, so that's half the battle. If you want the war in Ukraine to continue (you can be sure China does even as they their usual public deception of words to the contrary), we are going to leverage YOUR involvement in it and over extend YOU, by weakening Russia AND China"
If this was deliberate approach it is a master stroke of genius and I'd like to shake the hand of the person who identified this weakness which they never assumed America would exploit. Basically, as long as China doesn't have to extend resources, they can just fly around, shaking hands and supporting tyrants who will help China through sending resources, Belt and Road etc it's easy, once they realize that they can be extended too, they may understand that two can play this game.
America is now confronting one by one these states at the worst time for China as they spend gobs of money to help Russia. So in effect, America is using a reverse Uno card, "we spent hundreds of billions in Ukraine (Trump helped America to wisely now have loans and access to resources once peace arrives in Ukraine, no more free checks), you spent hundreds of billions propping up Russia for a return AND to extend the West. Now, your reputation will be finished when we stand by our partners (Israel and Ukraine) while yours (Iran, Venezuela, Russia) are erased as an orbit of CCP influence.
When Trump is overtly calling out these other countries, he is being serious. He is confronting the Communist expansion via their proxies, which in effect will shrink their sphere of influence and deter them from going into Taiwan. So whether its Mexico, Columbia, Cuba or Greenland, America realizes that Chinas expansion with little brother Russia, must be stunted.
These are for the highest stakes. It's better to chop off the head of the snake and let the citizens organically take back their countries than to have WWIII.
Ironically, Russia will also be saved as Chinas push would cost them land eventually as they become a weakened vassal state.
Putin is probably just now realizing just what an error in judgement he made. America is still the global military super power. Your Middle Class must be returned, manufacturing and American Values for the world. The alternative is dystopian.
