Trump’s Second Term Points to Tensions, Possible Cooperation With Pope Francis

ANALYSIS: The two world leaders have clashed on migration but could find common ground on a push for a negotiated peace in Ukraine.

One potential area of convergence is opposition to what Pope Francis calls “gender ideology ... a troubling ideology of our time,” which he says erases differences between men and women. Earlier this year, the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith stated that “any sex-change intervention, as a rule, risks threatening the unique dignity the person has received from the moment of conception.” Transgender issues, including the question of transgender athletes in women’s sports, were also prominent in Trump’s campaign. The matter is a delicate one, however, since the Pope takes a highly pastoral approach to transgender individuals, whom he has met with on a number of occasions at the Vatican.

I see it like Pope Francis, i can find common ground with Trump, and welcomed his victory, but main issue with him is race/migration. Trump might be a white nationalist and im not white, also my people are often immigrants, often also assylym seekers, maybe even illegal aliens somewhere sometimes, and typically themselfes often get everywhere deported like in france or the UK or germany. So Im not against migration, especially not against catholic/christian migration which most of the southern border migration is actually catholic. But i can find common ground with Trump on "gender ideology, peace in ukraine, pro life, and many other things even climate change and climate and environmental issues, green agenda, inflation, economy etc."

Actually I voted Trump, give him a try, he might not establish world wide white supremacy though

Morticia , you can basically forget Ukraine .
Trump will not be theoretically mobile until February .

If Moscow decides not to cross the Dneiper and not move further west , the war will have been over for some time.
If Russia decides it wants the Black Sea coastline and Odessa the fighting could still be over by then .

Russia has been pounding the Odessa oblast infrastructure for some weeks .

As for Popeye Francis-- all show and theatre on both sides . That Cultist Popeye can do no more than spread out his hands and implore for peace .
Then, all smiles and handshakes and everything carries on exactly the same

This pope is a red **** hair shy of being a Marxist.
His influence is negligible, American politicians claim Catholicism as their faith while their actions display a disdain for faith or doctrine with no fear of rebuke.

One thing i do know, Catholic Charities will no longer get billions of dollars for all the illegals that CC, has been receiving.
