Trump would never admit anything he does is not historic. He is his own KJP who declared everything Biden did as historic

Whether it's dealing with the fallout from executive orders, mass deportations, or bombing foreign countries without explicit congressional approval, President Trump just simply needs to remind his critics that nothing he’s doing is “ahistorical or unprecedented,” advises Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words:”

Commentary:
Isn't it Interesting at how the DSA Marxist Democrats memory is so very short and very selective.
Hmm..., sounds like very much like Joe Biden and advanced Alzheimer's dementia.
Victor Davis Hanson certainly makes good points in the podcast. He just gave the best argument for "What Aboutism": it's precedent!
The substantive comparisons are very useful and an excellent way to make a point.
Yet, it's sad as to how pathetic the Republicans in Congress have cowardly have reacted to the 4 years of harassment and persecution by Democrats.
DSAM Democrat autocrats do not, have not followed the law. Trump is absolutely acting within the law; the DSAM Dem Left-wing presidential predecessors flouted the law and set the precedents for Trump to follow... Even now they judge shop to stall and impede the advancements created by Trump.
They now reap what they've sown. They pay for their criminal actions.

/----/ BTW, Trump's Medicaid work rules are the same as Clinton's Welfare to Work program that passed and was successful. But democRATs don't care.

Let's not forget Harry Reid for going nuclear in the Senate in order to get Democrat's way. He deserves honorable mention.

Neither Obama nor Biden, nor any other American, has behaved like this in the macro picture.
They both abused EOs by using them as a way to work around Congress. That's authoritarian leadership and its bad for the country.
The flock COMPARES Trump to the rest in a feeble attempt to even things out. But they can't EQUATE him to the rest.
Maybe. But they're trying to - and, in as much as they supposedly hated these leaders, it's just pathetic excuse making. They're basically saying, "our guy is no worse than your guy". If that's so, he's also no better. So what's the point?

No kidding right?

But honestly, I'm surprised more Democrats aren't promoting Trump as he is promoting 80% of former Democrat Party Campaign promises. Instead they become shrill and lose all manner of cognitive reasoning.

Republicans however, seem to forget that what they are now promoting and championing they once opposed so vehemently while pointing at Democrat ridiculousness.

Problem is on most issues Trump doesn't have a position. With the Ukraine one minute he's giving them arms and criticizing Putin, the next he's praising Putin and not giving them arms.
Trump cant force either side to sign a ceasefire

And he cant deny military assistance to Ukraine

Its a no-win situation

Our political/electoral system has gone off the rails, and is now controlled by the whacked out wings and big money. It couldn't be more clear. There are things we can do to improve things, but just not enough people give a shit.

Prior to Escalator Day™, I spent most of my time here squabbling with Lefties because I thought they were the bigger of two bad problems. But that has switched for me. As bad as the Dems remain, the GQP is the first time I've seen a threat like this.

But not McTreason for nuking the filibuster of SC nominees so trump (actually Leonard Leo) could pack the court with extremist conservatives?

That's what I'm talking about. Harry Reid showed us the way. He should have never opened the can of worms. But, you do have to give McConnell some credit for not eliminating the filibuster altogether when he could have.

The thread title declares the public perception for sure....
Although this article discusses the reality. AI knows your next steps before you do. And so does the Government.
Basically with Trump one swamp is being replaced with another.

Calling on "Democrat" legislators to change the face of the court by additional Judges so they can pack the court to the left is extremist.
Not as it is today...

What about bombing and killing other countries leaders?

Iran Says U.S. Will 'Bitterly Regret' Sinking Warship, Calls For Trump's Blood

What about us taking out their Supreme Leader?

The U.S. Navy sank the Iranian frigate IRIS Dena Tuesday night in the Indian Ocean, killing at least 87 Iranian sailors, which Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi decried Thursday as “an atrocity at sea.”

“Frigate Dena, a guest of India’s Navy carrying almost 130 sailors, was struck in international waters without warning,” he wrote on social media. “Mark my words: The U.S. will come to bitterly regret (the) precedent it has set.”

Trump said Iran tried to take him out twice? I don't know if that's true but I'd be worried now if I were him.

<~~~~~~~~~~>
Indeed, both Obama and Biden didn't have positions and when they did take a position they faltered.
Obama's red line in the Sand..., Russia's first incursions into the Ukraine, and Obama sending blankets and MRE's..
Biden's fiasco in Afghanistan that led to Russian invasion of the Ukraine and Oct 7th.

BS. Obama ended Bin Laden and destroyed ISIS. Trump was left with the scraps, gave himself credit for what Obama did, and you racists fell right in line.

Trump made the agreement that set the date, which conveniently was made after he was out of office, and that withdrawal on Trump's date certain had NOTHING to do with the invasion of Ukraine or Oct.7. Under Trump, the war in Ukraine has not ended, Israel has increased its war, and Trump has joined in with it. If not for Biden getting NATO together to help Ukraine, it would be Russia right now, which would be fine with you.

All Trump has done is make it possible for you to get attacked here.
